This picture was taken at the second location I stopped that morning and was an attempt to possibly catch the tail of the comet before the head cleared the horizon.  Maybe the distant tree line was higher than I thought it was, but at the time of the picture the comet was still quite a bit below the horizon, exactly along where the line is on the image.  A line extending from 58 Leonis through 69 Leonis and beyond would lead to the comet.
