| Ceres was at opposition on July 5, so we are still catching it at its peak brightness of magnitude +7.3, easily visible just above ζ Sagittarii, also known as Ascella. Wispy summer clouds mix with the summer Milky Way clouds just above the treeline from my 38°15'15" latitude. |
