Jupiter and Saturn continue to move eastward through Sagittarius toward
their end-of-year conjunction. On this evening, November 18, the two
planets were 3° 30' apart and almost now only one month away from
their December 20 conjunction, which will be extremely close. This
image was acquired with a 55mm lens on my Nikon D40, so it's just telephoto
enough that you can make out the duplicity of α and β Capricorni.
